I use my hands a lot and I often need to take off my small jewelry, including my wedding rings. When I’m teaching, at the gym, or on the field or courts, I take my rings off to prevent scratching stones and\/or bending the band.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOne day on the softball field, I had to catch in for our outfield last minute. After catching a ball from our center fielder, I felt a sting in my ring finger. I removed my glove and saw the ball had bent my engagement ring, causing it to flatten into my finger, even worse, it knocked a stone out— and I couldn’t find it. I made the call to my husband and his response was, “I think I’m going to be sick.” We never wanted this to happen again, so I began to look for smarter, safer places to keep my ring, when I couldn’t wear it.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI tried all kinds of places like my purse, wallet, on my necklace, even my keychain carabiner\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e— but all of these solutions still left my rings exposed to objects that could damage them. I needed a \u003cstrong\u003eprotective\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003econvenient \u003c\/strong\u003eand \u003cstrong\u003econsistent \u003c\/strong\u003eplace to keep my rings from being damaged or lost, that would give me peace-of-mind while I was hard at work or play. I also needed it to be something that would not come unscrewed or unzipped like typical products designed for storage.
